Mage Publishing Indie Call

Thank you for considering Mage Publishing’s submission for previously published novels!

If you are an indie author whose book sales have flatlined because you couldn’t afford a quality cover, editor, and launch, then this is the place for you as we fix those issues and grow together. After a submission is accepted, the process begins as if the novel is completely new. We will endure edit after edit, cover design, formatting, proofing, and all that follows until we have a professional novel at hand.

Not all novels will be accepted; however, all submissions will receive a response. Mage Publishing focuses on the craft of writing, and your novel will be judged on its own merits.

Advances will be considered, but they are unlikely due to the costs associated with publishing the novel.

We are currently accepting submissions for any genre within Fantasy, Science Fiction, and LitRPG. Any sub-genres are welcome (excluding erotica and main-plot romance).

What to include in your submission:

1. A short cover letter explaining why you’re submitting
2. A one- to two-page synopsis
3. Link to novel’s product page
4. The first fifty pages
5. A short bio including publications, links to social media platforms, etc.

Missing one or more of these items may result in rejection. If we are interested in seeing more of your novel we will contact you (via email). If you are submitting a new novel that hasn’t been previously published, please refer to the submissions page on the main menu.

If we are interested, you should expect a response within 4 weeks. We will respond to each submission. If you have not heard back after 4 weeks, please submit again.
